Root partition is filling up

Hello,

I've got a problem with almost fully filled partition.

Same problem as this thread: https://community.sophos.com/utm-firewall/f/general-discussion/127833/root-partition-is-full-cannot-update.

And yes, my up2date folder is empty too. Working with UTM 9.707-5.

Hi,

it seems your root (/) especially in /var/sec is full. Try to find the biggest with

du -shx /var/sec/* | sort -h

Hi,

no you should not generally delete files from /var/sec!
But as far as I can see, there is nothing extra big there, so the problem lays anywhere. Try to find the big files from /

du -shx /* | sort -h

Hi,

this folders are unusual big, try to find what files are uncommon. But be careful to delete!

/var/up2date
/var/sec
/var/adm
/var/lib
