convert hardware to software

hello,

is it possible to make a backup of a UTM and then import it on a virtual machine (Hyper-V)?

Thank You!

  • Yes, but you have to have some things correctly setup if I remember this right.  The backup doesn't care about hardware matching, but it does care about specifically ethernet ports.  You need the same number of interfaces (or more but not less) on the receiving VM.

You will need your license file to add back, as that is independent of the backup config.
