Sophos UTM Firewalls

Question

I am using it at home on older Astaro hardware (1Ghz VIA processor, 1GB RAM). I have IDS on and it handles it well enough. But then I am not running 2Gbps through it! I highly recommend their UTM solutions. I used to be a reseller for Astaro and they've improved it since then.

I think this depends on your NICs! I think the old Astaro hardware has just 1GB Network Interfaces - if you need more there are flexi-port options for 10GB or use Link Aggregation.
