User Preferences tab still missing for AD authenticated users?

Hi,

I found this 9 Year old post after wondering why I cannot find this tab when authenticated with an AD user. So I cannot turn off the annoying STRG-C function and other things.

Strange thing is, that this does not happen, when I'm connected to the local SG. If I access an other SG behind an IPSEC Site-2-Site, the tab is missing. Why?

Version: 9.706-9

Any chance to change these settings?

  • On my UTM 9.707-5 i have this page if I login with local admin.

    With AD-Admin i don't see this!

  • Is the ad-admin account created/inported at the SG-device (for VPN for example) ... or used for webadmin only?

SG need the local created user to store these settings.

  • I think Dirk is right, that this has nothing to do with the type of connection: I am seeing this at a remote site over a site-to-site ipsec-vpn -tunnel (Version 9.707):
