I am using Sophos UTM 9.707-5 Home Edition. I added TP Link NIC but Sophos UTM is not detecting NIC Card. Realtek and Broadcom NIC working fine.

  • Adding network cards into an existing install does not work.  You would have to reinstall the UTM software then restore from your backup.

  • but i added usb NIC and after restart sophos utm deteted the usb nic

  • USB devices are treated differently.  The NICs are actual hardware devices that are not 'temporary' unlike USB.  There are even a lot of USB devices that are not detected with UTM.  This forum has a lot of discussions about this, and adding a NIC to UTM has always been a reinstall of the UTM, as far back as I can remember and using UTM when it was Astaro.

  • Salaam Abdul and welcome to the UTM Community!

Amodin gave you the answer.  It's possible that your NIC is not supported.  See USB Compatibility List.
