Point to Point

Good Morning,

We are preparing to bring up a new point to point between our two offices.

We are currently using a VPN tunnel to achieve connectivity.

The quick question is I am using a separate interface on both sides and am looking to plug in and address the new interface. After the interface is online then we will redirect our current translations to point across the tunnel and once tested bring down the VPN.

Is it safe to bring up the new interface during work hours? In my experience the UTM is finicky about certain changes and dont want to bring down or current L2Tp or SSL vpn users while we are doing this.

Thanks.
