500 Internal Server Error

Probably runing 9.705-3 in a VM

Went to logon and got the below

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at admin to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

already tried a reboot, no improvement

nothing stands out in the httpd.log https://pastebin.com/naaSgfP3 192.168.53.165 is the internal endpoint used to connect.

email is flowing through the UTM

  • and of course, I was looking at the wrong box, this one has a full / 

    41G free on /var/storage

    58 G free on /var/log

    5.2 M free on /

    running "version" shows "Current software version...: 9.705003",  and /var/up2date/sys is empty, so it's not up2date files that have filled it up...

    Lucky to have emailed auto backups, but I'm a bit grumpy about losing the mail log...

  • Hi and welcome to the UTM Community!

    Using WinSCP or similar, you can copy off the /var/log directory and then copy it back after you re-install and restore.
