Best Practise when configuring a AP behind a RED-Device

Hello everyone,

We have a UTM and a Red-Device at another location.

At this location I want to put an access point behind the Red-Device.

This one should have two SSIDs. One of them with a separate zone, the other one into the internal network (which the Red already has).

Whats the best practise and what would be the optimal way? I already configured this without the RED-Device. Is there any difference?

  • Hallo Alimhan and welcome to the UTM Community!

Please show a diagram with IPs (a picture of a hand-drawn one works) of what you're trying to accomplish.  If you prefer, obfuscate IPs like 84.XX.YY.121, 10.X.Y.100, 192.168.X.200 and 172.2X.Y.51.  That lets us see immediately which IPs are local and which are identical or just in the same subnet.

    Cheers - Bob
