DDNS to UTM

Hello!

I'm trying to get DDNS working to my UTM. Used to work but somethng has happened. Don't know what... If I do a nslookup "my.dns.com" I will reeceive an IP-address. I will receive the same IP if I do myip.dk in a webbrowser. If i look at my WAN interface in UTM it has an completely different IP. Is that correct? My UTM is connected directly to my cable modem.

/Johan

  • Possible your provider use NAT/Masquerading to connect you to the internet.

    Do you see a private IP-range at the interface (10.x.x.x / 172.16-32.x.x / 192.168.x.x) ?

  • No. Wan interface has an IP 100.64.X.X
If i do nslookup my IP is 158.174.X.X.

    For me, that is confusing.

*edit* 100.64.X.X IS a private address. Did not know that.

    How to solve this problem?

    /Johan

  • There are some VPN/Tunnel provider.

Don#t know other ways to reachable behind provider-NAT.

... or search for another provider.
