Sophos on Proxmox

Hello Everyone,

I would like to install Sophos firewall inside proxmox environment. What I need to know is that possible? If yes then can anyone shed some light on how to get started and which version of sophos to go for?

Currently, I have proxmox installed on "Intel® E3845 4 LAN 1 COM AES-NI 4G Fanless Firewall Router" which is a whitebox solution having 8 GB RAM, 32 GB (mSATA SSD) and secondary drive is 2.5" SATA HDD for storage.

Thanks. I have downloaded sophos gpl-asg-9.601-5-1.iso

I believe the firewall on proxmox is off by default. Should I worry that proxmox's local firewall may interfere with sophos?

Leave it off for the Sophos VM.

Use the proxmox firewall for the other individual VM's you might be running.
