Problem creating Lets encrypt certificate

Hi there

I am trying to create a lets encrypt cert for the web portal.

Under Remote Access -> Cert Management - > Certificates it gives an error message that it cannot communicate with the lets encrypt servers.

In the admin log, it says: AH00112: Warning: DocumentRoot [/var/www/REF_NetIntExterWanAddre] does not exist

Do I Need to modify permissions with ssh login? I have not found a hint in the HowTos for this.

Thanks and best regards

Matthias

  • Is a public dns a record resolving to the UTM‘s WAN IP? Like webadmin.mydomain.com? And second question: ends port 80 on the UTM‘s WAN IP or exists any other firewall device between the UTM and the internet that could block port 80?
