STAS - workstation polling works, but users are not logged out in STAS

Using STAS 2.2.1.0 on two Windows Server 2016 version 1607, one has the agent and the other has both agent and collector.

Have configured STAS to use WMI and workstation polling. When testing workstation polling in STAS Collector, it works for logged in users. But for some reason logged off users are still logged in according to STAS. When testing their IP-address, WMI fails as it should.

Why are they still logged on? Detection interval is set to 600 s and dead entry timeout is set to 0 letting workstation polling to solve dead peers.

What can be wrong?

I still do not yet understand why STAS cannot detect dead peers using WMI workstations polling. The peers are offline, but they are still logged in according to STAS.

Any help is appreciated
