[BUG] Can't select certificate in WebAdmin settings

Hello,

I uploaded my wildcard certificate to the device, but I'm unable to select it under the WebAdmin settings to be used as the certificate. The only option is the default appliance certificate. Is there any way to set this, or has anyone experienced the same?

Have you import Certificate Authority also ? Does it shows Authority as Green under objects--> Identity --> Certificate

i have the same issue, take a look to the screenshots .... and you are not able to use my own Wildcard certificate

The Bug is, that the certificates will not checked for Validation after you Import an extra CA.

You have to Import the certificate a secound time. Only wenn you Import the certificate will be checkt. 

The Solution for the FW must be, to check the Validation of the certificates if a new CA will be imported. 

If the Icon will be green the certificate is selectable.

Nice work! I've been messing with it for a while and couldn't get the certificate to show green. Indeed, after importing the CA (why do we need to do this again? It's already there...) and then uploading the certificate again, it shows green and is selectable!

We are tracking this internally as NC-4330

I was uploading it as a pkcs12 (.pfx) file and it pulled in the root CA  (I've implemented a two-tier PKI hierarchy) into the Objects > Identity > Certificate Authority but it did not import the issuing CA which was quite odd. So after manually adding in the Root & Issuing CA as you said Alex, all was well.

This looks more like the bug is that it's not importing the certificate hierarchy with it.

can you please check your certificate using below command and confirm that you are able to see two certificates in it.. 

openssl pkcs12 -in .p12 -info

I have uploaded my PKCS12 certificate and i am able to import it smoothly..
