Plan for guest manager role (voucher creator)?

Hi,

in the current role system, we have 2 roles which would fit for this in principle: "Help Desk" and "Read-Only". Would this feature be something you would see for "Help Desk"?
This feature request is tracked internally with CWIFI-6110.

Yes, this could be a logical function for the "help desk" role :-)

As a customer we are currently migrating into the central wireless have a lot of department offices that would like to be able to create their own vouchers there could optimallybe a new seperate role that gave the user a simplified "dummy-proof" interface.

The "help desk" role would probably be a small change for the central system, so if this is the quicker method - that would be great as our customer is very eager to get this :-)

Hi,

Creating custom user roles is not available at the moment, thus we will check how we can add this to the "Help Desk" role. As access to this functionality is currently bound to edit rights, we have to resolve these dependencies first. I will update this thread once we have the feature ready.
