After Enabling (for a test) and disabling Hotspot - need to reboot AP for wireless access

Hi all,

I am in 1.8-4 and it seems that when you disable the hotspot (the basic one with just User Acceptance) - you need to reboot (I did it from the WebGUI) the AP to have the Internet access back.

Is this a normal behavior? If yes, maybe it could be good to have a notification to invite to reboot manually the AP?

Thanks

  • Hi,

thanks for reporting this. We tracked this internally with CWIFI-5608 and is already solved. It will be part of one of the next releases. With the fix, you can turn hotspot on and off and do not require a reboot anymore to get internet access back.

    Kind regards,
