Unable to Change Channel or Channel Width

I'm not even sure how to describe this or finding a reason as to why.  On one of the dashboards I'm testing I am unable to change the channel width or channel.  When I click the drop down, all it shows its the Channel Width its on and same with the channel.  I tried this on another dashboard/customer and its working fine. I can select 20/40/80 and all the channels.   Get in touch with me directly if you want access into that dashboard to take a look if that helps.  Heres the best screenshot I could capture of whats going on.  Both of these screenshots I have selected the drop down and thats all I get.

  • To document what we saw and did:

    The access point only showed the default channel width + the channel it had selected before. Other than switching to auto-channel, there was no further option. This is the standard behaviour when the system has no information on the AP's capabilities. We also found that changing anything wasn't possible (error 500 thrown).

    The issue was circumvented by rebooting the access points. 

    To address the missing sync on AP capabilities and the save issue, I created CWIFI-4123.
