WPA2 changes to WPA when saving SSID

Question

When creating a new SSID the encryption mode "WPA2-Peronal" is selected. After completing the configuration and saving the SSID, the encyrption mode changes to WPA-Personal.

We were able to reproduce it and prepared a fix (will come with one of the next released). Issue is tracked with CWIFI-3855. This issue should only happen when creating a new network. When you change it afterwards, the change should be applied correctly. Can you verify whether this works for you?
