Hello All,
Avira virus scan engine in XG firewall 17.5 has been upgraded. The latest engine is not compatible with older Avira antivirus patterns.
Behavior that customer would observe
1) When XG firewall version 17.5 will boot for first time, it will download the full Avira signatures (~90 MB). It could take up to few seconds to few minutes based on your internet speed.
2) During the download period web, email traffic will be blocked. Blocked emails will get delivered after engine reload (blocked email will be appear in email spool as reason malware scan failed).
