HP P420 and other array controllers supported?

I've tried to install version 18 on multiple HP servers but after the initial installation and reboot they don't seem to recognize the array controller. Are the HP P420 array controllers supported, or are there any tricks to making this work?

I've definitely seen XGs and UTMs installed bare metal onto Dell and HP servers as we have a couple of Customers who run phat SSD backed RAIDs for their boxes.

As long as it's a core brand RAID controller and is supported by at least Linux Kernel 3.4 I'm confident you shouldn't have a problem.

It's FakeRAID and legacy RAID controllers i would be wary of.
