TAP - Adapter Windows hat nur 100 mBit - Connect

Hallo allerseits,

es geht um eine Client2Site Verbindung, die funktioniert soweit gut, aber die Bandbreite reicht nicht. Die Gegenstelle (Sophos XGS3200) würde 1Gbit annehmen.

In den Netzwerkadapter Einstellungen ist die MTU auf 1400 limitiert.

Ist es möglich den Adapter entsprechend auf 1Gbit/s zu ändern? Oder gibt es dann eine andere Lösung von Sophos?

    Hello,
    thanks for your answer. A colleague reported the outcome of his testing of the connection was clearly never hitting or crossing the 100mbit mark;

    Actually the problem is the encryption and the data compression. 

    Sophos Connect uses OpenVPN. OpenVPN itself reports, you will get more or less similar speed on a standard 1500 MTU Internet interface at given time. If you could increase the MTU to something like 9000, you could get much faster speed, but in the real world, it is not possible to increase the SSLVPN speed to significant much more.
