Time to synchronise after adding

How long should I expect to have to wait for a device to show up as in sync after adding it to SCFM?

The last few times it's been many hours, which is a bit painful if you want to send a tech out to install and then use SCFM to configure a device at the time of deployment - the tech ends up sitting around for half a day until the device is ready for test.

Also, deploying configuration items (IP Host, etc) to devices seems a bit slow. After a week all the config items are sitting at "In Progress" and are not appearing on the devices.

    After sending a join request to the customer make sure you follow the necessary steps in order:

    1. In the XG, go to System \ Administration \ Central Management.

    2. Verify the Domain field has "us-e1.cfm.sophos.com"

    3. Try with PUSH or FETCH alternatively and as suggested in my previous suggestion re-add the device after making this change.

    4. Check in the Discover notification option on SCFM to add the device.

    5. Devices approved by the customer from MySophos will be seen under system management \ account settings \ accounts \ device inventory.

    NOTE: Evaluation devices, Demo devices and devices with trial full guard licenses cannot be managed by SCFM.

    If that doesn't help, please raise it to support and verify if this issue is a known behavior.
