What is the use of a tick box to log information when nothing appears in the logs?

Put the incoming mail policy in place again. Policy shows traffic through it in both directions. Log traffic is ticked, but there are details in the logs.

I am trying to see which server (ISP) mail server is being passed through this policy.

If I enable the scan pop3s, some accounts fail as being unable to contact the mail server, but again nothing is logged.

  • Hi Ian,

Log traffic option must be selected to generate Reports in the reporting section.

Now, if you are checking the dynamic log files from the options :

You will have to select, "Allow all" or custom filter in Web-Filter and Application Filter scanning. If "None"  is selected then no logs shall be generated as the traffic wont pass through XG's proxy.

    Thanks
