I made already a post about the 10G nic i bulid into which is not working as it should. So i thought I'd use the 2 bulit in SFP ports. I connected a cable to the SFP+ from my switch and nothing.
I thought maybe the could not communicate so I connected a SFP switch and also nothing. My SFP+ RJ45 module also won't work.
I checked dmesg and I see nothing wrong.
Do the SFP ports work with direct cable? Do I need SFP modules? How did u guys connect this?
