upgrade to sophos firewall UTM model to XG320

Try to check the CPU utilization and any logs to assist us further.

Hi Erick, thanks you for support and the issue happened with below point.

The model is XG230, 

> User use internet and slow.

> User is in the office. Sometimes restart solves this. Policy rules adjustment helped.

> Sometimes report does not run. So that cannot generate report.

> It had been replaced the appliance 1 time due to those problems. Problems still incurred.

> Logs are not completed. So cannot trace where it stuck. i.e. source IP, NAT IP, rule1, rule2 .

> CPU load during problem time has not been significant.

Thank you for the update. Kindly try to follow the above KB for slow internet. However, I would recommend contacting Support to have this checked further, as it’s an urgent case. Also, kindly share the case ID once created for monitoring purposes.

     If I can provice of FW configurations file. It's possbile to check the issue with Sophos team ? or what kind of informations and file need to check ? 

Hi Nyein,

You don’t need to provide the FW configuration; the case handler will check it remotely, and no changes will be made without your permission. The only requirement is to turn on support access.

    If this FW is not integrated with Sophos Central ? It's possible to check remotely or Sophos support team will create remote section ?

why are you migrating to the XG series firewall?
The XG series is EOL in March 2025 and will no longer be sold since 2021.
You should consider using XGS series appliances.

   Thanks for your suggest also. Yes I just got some info about this FW is old and it will finish for support also gone on next years. This is one of my customer network and let me confirm back with them why they upgrade old one. :)
