SSL VPN Certificates and .cfg

Hey there,

on old SUM Firewalls there was an SSL VPN Installer incl. configuration on Userportal.

When you have installed this, you got an openvpn.cfg file and the user certificate.

I have changed our Firewall to an XGS and now i need the new certificate and .cfg file for a phone.

Can anybody tell me where i can get these files?
I cant download the certificate from the Firewall Webadmin, Userportal or VPN portal.

Configurationfiles are only in .ovpn but i really need the .cfg file.

Thank you for reaching out to the community, if the user is a part of the SSL VPN config, then you can download the .ovpn file from the VPN Portal:

thanks for the reply.

First things first, why have you more Options in the VPN Portal? oO

But yes, i can download the ovpn file. But i need a .cfg file and the user certificate as .crt or .pem

Cause I have the latest firmware v20.0.1 MR-1, with v20.0.0 GA onwards, VPN portal was Introduced: A new, hardened, and highly secure, containerized self-service VPN portal is available for remote access VPN users. It contains remote access downloads, such as the Sophos Connect Client and configurations, and performs auto-provisioning for remote access VPN connections. It also contains clientless VPN bookmarks. You can refer the SSL VPN Doc.

Ah okay, havent seen this Firmware by now.

But this isnt the answer for my problem

is there a way to convert or split the ovpn fil in a crt and cfg file?
