Serial Number and licensing for XGS VM

Hello, I have purchased the license for an XGS firewall Virtual Appliance to be installed on VMWare.

I have received the License key for Xstream Protection for SF SW/Virtual - UP TO 4 CORES & 6GB RAM - 39 MOS as well as the License number.

I have a Sophos Central account.

What I Have not received is a S/N for the virtual appliance and I can't find a guide to redeem the license and/or obtain a S/N. Can someone link me the correct procedure to to obtain the S7N and then proceed to register my VM on my Sophos Central account?

    This seems unlikely to me as our Sophos contact worked with us in defininig the requirements.

    anyway, assuming the order was correct, may I ask if either of this hypothesis have any foundation:

    - the S/N is generated during the initial wizard perhaps, during the registration phase? I was yet unable to register on Sophos Central as I currently lack a WAN connectivity in this site.

    -perhaps I should generate a S/N  by activating a trial license and then do a license transfer?

    is there any step-by-step documentation about the setup wizard for a XGS VM?

    Yes - there should be an item on the order for the perpetual base license. Sometimes you can order the bundle (base + xstream).

    You could generate a new trial within the wizard and then apply the key in central after the generation.
