Hello chanklish ,
Thank you for reaching out to the community, here is the following list of SFPs compatibility list. Under the list Huawei does not seems to be a part of the supported list.
Thanks & Regards,

i know .. i already said that .. but you cant be one of the main companies in security and not have any sfp from huawei .. literally half of earth runs huawei gear
my question is clear : would this work even if not supported by your list ?!
There might be many other third parties available which may or may not support irrespective of whether they are in the list or not. The list is prepared after a successful test, so if it is not listed then it probably won't work. I recommend getting the one from the official list.
Thanks & Regards,

Huawei is among several companies (also i.E. ZTE) which are banned by the U.S. and several dependent states (as obviously GB and the EU) for cooperating to heavily with the (chinese) goverment in espionage.
Our telcos in germany (especially Deutsche Telekom) were forced to remove all Huawei parts from their already set up 5G installations and replace it with (less advanced) stuff from other vendors.
This explains, why only "half of earth" runs Huawei gear.
As for the technical part: it will probably work since they comply to the SFP specification. I'ts just not tested and certified.
Also note that some vendors (namely Cisco and HP) check the ID string and refuse to work with SFPs from other vendors as themselves, but I am not aware that Sophos does this.
