Block TLD in Web filtering?

Recently Google started selling new top level domain names ending in.zip, .mov, and others. Due to the risk of phishing and abuse, we are looking to block the entire TLD ending in .zip.

How can we do this? When I try to add an URL of *.zip to the Web URL Groups list, it just says "you must enter a valid domain name".

  • Hello

You need to only use "zip" without the wildcard. Doing this it will match all domains that uses the "zip" TLD. (In this case this would act as *.zip)

    Example:

    Thanks!
