Removing a Interface from a LAG

Yes, Port 8 is part of the LAG, and this is monitored.

Could you not include  Port8 on the monitored port/s and try breaking port8 out of LAG again?

no- port 8 isnt available for monitoring due its part of the (monitored) LAG.

So these steps will help?

1. Removing Monitored Port (here a LAG) in HA
2. Editing the LAG and removing the Port 8
3. Adding the edited LAG back to monitored ports in HA

No Reboot, no failover to second node removing the monitored port.

Yes kindly remove Port8 on the LAG (which is monitored) then try to break the LAG and see if the port8 would still be present.
