ACPI Errors while loading Sophos XG Firewall Home Edition V.18 software, on QOTOM mini-pc

Hello,
Since the new version SW-18.0.x, there are errors when loading the Sophos XG Firewall Home Edition software.

[             0.893103] ACPI Error: [_SB_.PCI0.RP05.PXSX] Namespace lookup failure, AE_NOT_FOUND (20170728/dswload2-191)
[             0.920003] ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND, During name lookup/catalog (20170728/psobject-252)
[             0.948002] ACPI Error: Method parse/execution failed \_SB.PCI0.RP04.PXSX, AE_NOT_FOUND (20170728/psparse-550)
[             0.976278] ACPI Error: [_SB_.PCI0.RP09.PXSX] Namespace lookup failure, AE_NOT_FOUND (20170728/dswload2-191)
[             1.008001] ACPI Exception: AE_NOT_FOUND, During name lookup/catalog (20170728/psobject-252)
[             1.032002] ACPI Error: Method parse/execution failed \_SB.PCI0.RP08.PXSX, AE_NOT_FOUND (20170728/psparse-550)

Thing that was not with the old version 17.

Here is the configuration of my PC:
Marque: Qotom - Mini PC
Model: Q575G6 No WiFi
Bios vers.: 0.24 x64
Build Date and Time: 10/31/2020
Type: i7-7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz
Speed: 2900 MHz
Total Memory: 8192 MB
Memory Frequency: 2133 MHz
SSD: 128Go
The Bios is at the latest version, 0.24.
FTP site for downloading the Bios: https://www.qotom.shop/download/BIOS/Q500
File => Q500G6_P024W.zip
The Bios was at version 0.22 and even after installing the new Bios the problem is the same.
Following the Bios update, the Firmware has been reinstalled with the latest version 18, but the errors are still there.
Does anyone have a solution to fix this problem?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards

  • * I've moved your post to the correct forum.

This looks like a Kernel issue, but ACPI errors should be harmless.

After upgrading to v18, does It get stuck at this error message, or the firewall is fully functional ? (You can access the Admin Page, or pass traffic through It.)

  • Hello Prism,  Thanks for putting my topic in the right location, sorry I'm new to this forum and there were so many options that I clicked on the first link that allowed me to post my problem. :-)

So to answer your question, yes, the firewall is fully functional and I can easily access the administration page.  Traffic also works.

So if I understand correctly. Is there nothing to do. If not leave so?
