Android Enterprise setup

Hi,

 

I'm having difficulties setting up Android Enterprise. I click 'configure' then choose “Managed Google Play Account” scenario and click 'next' and 'register account', i then go to google and enter all the details and complete sign up and it takes me back to sophos central but says 'An error occurred. The administrators have been notified.' I havent been notified though and dont know what the issue is. 

 

any ideas?

  • I now have fixed the issue. It seems that Android Enterprise will fail to bind unless you already have a connected Android device in your device list. 

    So basically go to 'Devices' - 'Add '- 'Enrollment Wizard' and get the app installed on the users android phone. Connect it all up then try the android enterprise again and it should work with no errors. 

     

    Let me know if this works for you too.
