Sophos Security Guard app is NOT listed under Android Device Administrators

Hello,

I am NOT sure if this is even an issue, or if it is confined to my device (or Android Lollipop). Any clarification would be helpful.

Device Information:
Manufacturer:    Swipe
Model Name:    Swipe Elite Plus
Android Version:    5.0.2
Location:    Chennai, India

I have both these apps installed:
1) Sophos Mobile Security
2) Sophos Security Guard

How it used to be:
Both these apps used to be listed as potential Device Administrators (under Settings --> Security --> Device Administrators), which we could either Activate ([_/] by selecting the checkbox next to the app listed under Device Administrators) or Deactivate ([X] by deselecting/NOT selecting the checkbox next to the app listed under Device Administrators).

And I used to have both the apps selected/activated as Device Administrators.

Potential Issue Now:
Since the Google Playstore Update to both these apps on August 21, 2017, ONLY the Sophos Mobile Security app is listed under Device Administrators.

And the Sophos Security Guard app is NOT listed for selection under Device Administrators.

And I guess because of this, sometimes the Sophos Security Guard app is not always running in the background. Meaning, even though I could always see the Sophos Mobile Security app in the list of Running Processes under Settings --> Apps --> Running tab, the Sophos Security Guard app is sometimes not listed in the list of Running Processes under Settings --> Apps --> Running tab.

Although, whenever it is NOT listed in the list of Running Processes under Settings --> Apps --> Running tab, at those times, I can however see the Sophos Security Guard app in the list of Cached Processes under Settings --> Apps --> Running tab --> Options --> Show Cached Processes view.

My question here is:
If the Sophos Security Guard app's job is to make sure that any virus/malware/trojan/PUA does NOT uninstall/stop the Sophos Mobile Security app from always running, shouldn't that app (Sophos Security Guard) be ALWAYS running in the first place for that monitoring to ALWAYS happen?

Again, I am unsure if this is happening ONLY FOR ME or for everyone else. Also, if this is even an issue.

So it would be helpful if anyone with Android Lollipop could check this behavior in their mobile and let me know.

If you do see the Sophos Security Guard app listed under Device Administrators in your device and if you do think this is an issue and is isolated ONLY to my device, please suggest me further course of action.

I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Sophos Security Guard app itself. Still the same result. I have not tried uninstalling/reinstalling the main app (Sophos Mobile Security app) though. Well, to be honest, I did not want to go through the work of setting it up again! ;)

Thanks in Advance!
Siva
