Android Communication With Sophos Mobile Control

Hello Everyone,

So with Google doing away with GCM in May of this year. will this mean communication of android devices that are not compatible with the new FCM stop communicating with my Sophos Mobile Control server? I also have several devices in Kiosk mode and if they stop communicating with the Sophos Mobile Control server is there a way to take them out of Kiosk mode with input from the Sophos Mobile application?

All the communication would be done via FCM instead of GCM. So the android devices should be able to communicate via FCM and you should be able to take them out of the Kiosk mode. Please have a look at this article for more information.
