How to configure a Mobile Sophos Secure eMail container to connect to GSuite/GMail server (and not Exchange)?

How can we configure a secure email container that connects to gsuite enterprise mail accounts.

All the configuration seems to be prepared to connect to a Exchange server, but how can we configure our corporate email accounts if our server is not exchange? We are using the gsuite mail services.

It is possible if Gsuite/Gmail provide EAS service with the required server address. Please check the list of supported protocols in Sophos Secure Email application for iOS and Android mentioned in the release notes.

It worked!

The EAS service parameters for gmail are:

Gmail Exchange ActiveSync Settings

Gmail Exchange ActiveSync server address: m.google.com

Gmail Exchange ActiveSync domain: google (or your personal domain in gsuite, without .com)

Gmail Exchange ActiveSync user name: Your full email address (e.g. me@mydomain.com)

Gmail Exchange ActiveSync password: Your Gmail password

Gmail Exchange ActiveSync TLS/SSL required: yes (by default, I didn't need to configure this on the policy)
