Is Sophos Central MDM solution having issues? Unable to enroll any users.

Since Friday, we have been  unable to enroll any users in Sophos Central MDM. Support has been spotty and some techs suggest that we just need to "wait" and another this morning said that it may be an issue. Is anyone else having this issue?

  • The issue appears to be corrected. It had been down since Friday AM. It is now currently working again.

  • Still having problems with a completely new registration not being able to finish the Secure Email portion even though the Mobile Control app shows as green. One device/user that was registered before was completely deleted and setup with an iOS container was able to get email but a completely new registration is still stalling.

  • I did test this as well. I took at iPhone and registered with Secure email. It was able to install without issues via the QR code. I was able to open the Secure Email app and see email. 


    Regarding you comment about things being different - We did notice several changes in the application. Our Help Desk users now have less icons available to them and now not able to add users at all. (no add icon available in widgets) Admins can still add, but continue to find things that have changed. MacOS was enabled without assistance. 

    We are reviewing the entire setup to see what else may have been changed without knowledge. 

    Support Tickets have been opened with this information.

  • The person who was working before and deleted got the email right away on a new Mobile Control + Secure Email iOS apps install (after the device registration was newly done over after the device was deleted. 

    The completely new person got the Control portion setup (with the QR code) but it is just spinning/registering/setting up after the email password is entered in the Secure Email app for 5+ minutes before we gave up.
