When you manage your Hosts and Service objects in a central firewall policy, it is not possible to rename these objects.
The idea of having objects is to have the flexiblity to change something centrally and have it updated on all dependencies. So renaming an objects is a basic function which must be possible.
A pretty common scenario is that you allow a certain service to a certain server. If you have a lot of branch offices, you want to have only one central object representing the server. But if that server changes (f.e. because it is replaced by a new one with a new OS or something), you only want to change the IP AND the name of that particular object and have the change reflected on all firewalls that are part of the group where this policy is applied.
