Installing Sophos protection error

Hello,

We have Sophos central installed so we went ahead to download Sophos protection from the sophos central portal. I tried running the installer as admin and got the error

"License is not valid.

You are not licensed to install any products provided by this installer on this computer. check your licensing in Sophos central"

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

  • Thank you for your confirmation. You can locate your subscription on your central dashboard by navigating to the upper right corner and hitting the arrow down under your account, then select licensing and validate if you have an Endpoint server license available on your account. 
    There are multiple reasons that may lead to such errors. First is that you might have used an incorrect package. Instead of using the endpoint for the server package, you've used the package for the endpoint client. Second, you don't have a license for server endpoint installation.
