Hi
We have a program that is with a OCRM.exe file extension located on a folder in a PC-1 . From PC-5 windows 10 computer, I created a shortcut pointing to the OCRM.exe. When I click to open this shortcut, it says: This app has been blocked by your system administrator.
When i remove the sophos from the PC it works without any issues. Looks like some thing is blocking on the Sophos. Sophos endprotection is is hosted on the cloud. Is there any way i can whitelist the OCRM.exe on the sophos firewal so that it pushes the update to the windows 10 PCs.Or let me know if there is different way of sorting this issue.
Thanks
Hi genesis,
Thanks for reaching out to the Sophos Community Forum.
To allow the application, you will need to log in to the Sophos Central Admin portal where the endpoints are managed from. From the information in your post, it sounds like there is an Application Control policy in place which is configured to block your app.
You can find more information on the Application Control policy at the following link.- Application Control Policy
If you can provide a screenshot of what the detection shows in Sophos Central, I may be able to advise further.
