We have a number of devices that haven't been seen recently. We believe these devices may have been re-imaged or decommissioned. Our thinking is that if we deleted or removed the device from Central, it would recoup any licenses such as Protection or Endpoint., but this does not appear to be the case.
Is there any way to recoup license counts without having the machine directly in front of you? Clearly during Covid, a lot of user changes occured and equipment was redstributed, some no longer used, some even broke. There has to be some mechanism to reocver the licenses that are no in use .
