I have multiple endpoints that are no longer registered with sophos central for whatever reason. IE the station was decomissioned, never recycled and the client brough it back months later cause they still wanted to use it.
The machine is still tamper protected and we can't get it to re-register. I've tried multiple scripts to uninstall sophos but Sophos itself keeps blocking them, as well as using the --registeronly flag, but requires tamper protection to be turned off.
The uninstall tool also requires tamper protection to be turned off. I've checked the recover tamper protection password reports and the station no longer exists their either. What am I supposed to do besides wiping the system clean again?
