Windows 10 May Release 18362.86 Download Failure Within Sandboxie

I have upgraded to Windows 10 Build 18362.86, and upgraded to Sandboxie 5.30.

Unfortunately Sandboxie is nearly unusable with this new build of Windows 10.

Nothing will download within the sandbox, including the Mozilla Firefox safe browsing files, so the files are constantly downloaded again and again, but can't be applied when sandboxed.

This also applies to uBlock and it's update signature files.

Will there be a Windows 10 18362 (May Update) compatible version of Sandboxie released soon?

  • That's a bit worrying as, somewhat counter-intuitively, I want the May release for its sandbox feature. Sandboxie just won't install many programs in a sandbox IME.

I tried the beta with Sandboxie, briefly, some time ago and gave up as it would not  work properly. You'd have thought they would have had time to sort it out by now. Not allocating the resources?

I am very concerned for the future of Sandboxie, as there is nothing sufficiently like it as a replacement.
