Youtube and blocking specific categories within

Hi,

I'm coming from McAfee Web Gateway and one of the features I like/had was that I could block categories within YouTube. We are a School District that needs to access YouTube (YouTube for Education has limited content). It would be nice to setup a policy or rule to be able to block these YouTube Categories.

Currently available categories are:
• Film
• Autos
• Music
• Animals
• Sports
• Shortmov
• Travel
• Games
• Videoblog
• People
• Comedy
• Entertainment
• News
• Howto
• Education
• Tech
• Nonprofit
• Movies
• Movies_anime_animation
• Movies_action_adventure
• Movies_classics
• Movies_comedy
• Movies_documentary
• Movies_drama
• Movies_family
• Movies_foreign
• Movies_horror
• Movies_sci_fi_fantasy
• Movies_thriller
• Movies_shorts
• Shows
• Trailers

As far as I it could be added, and feel free to suggest it at feature.astaro.com.

I would note that the feature as stated would use the categorization done by Youtube and video uploaders themselves.

Also as I mentioned perhaps uncategorised ones could have an option to block/warn. Or we can go on the UTM and change certain videos to different categories like we can on the domains.

Thank for your response. I voted to add the feature from the link - thanks for adding that. I believe that this function will benefit organizations a lot more than without it; even though the categories are managed by the poster (and YouTube from my understanding). We use it because there are way too many videos to manage through YouTube for Schools; we select the categories that are a must view and block the others. If something gets through, then it becomes the teacher's responsibility to manage that in their classroom.
