I am trying to find a way to deploy Sophos Cloud to an office full of Macs (let's just say 150 for arguement's sake).
Email link deployment is not an option as our users are not administrators on their machines, and they ignore most emails from IT anyway.
I found the help page detailing "scripted" deployment, but find it lacking as it is not a true script but a simple terminal command which requires that the installer DMG file be present on the user's hard drive.
I think we can do better. Is there anyone out there who has built a .pkg or similar which can be pushed via Apple Remote Desktop?
What about an actual script that mounts a share and installs from it? I'm hoping to find a solve that doesn't involve touching every machine in the office individually.
