I have non-boot volume encryption set to no in the policy but removable volumes such as flash drives are getting encrypted? I do not want this to happen. Also how do I go about decryption removable drive?
Can you please share a screenshot of the policy settings?
In reply to Haridoss Sreenivasan:
Sure here you go,
Full disk Encryption

Could you please run RSOP on the affected machine to make sure there's not a conflicting policy being applied to the machine from somewhere?
In reply to MichaelMcLannahan:
I ran RSOP no other policy is causing this issue. However, I found that it's encrypting anything that is Fat32 formatted. I just formatted a flash drive to Fat32 and right away Sophos started encrypting the drive.
How very odd!
Has ever a policy existed that was created that DID encrypt? Did it perhaps have a policy and hasn't synchronised with the server again?
I thought that might be the case. It just so happened that my old computer died yesterday and I built a new one. Even on the new one it's doing the same thing. It picked up the policy. FYI it's not just fat32. It encrypted NTFS flash drive as well. I did open a support ticket. At this point I have no idea what is going on.
