Number of objects scanned difference

I have noticed since the virus definition updated to version 3.76.5:2019081303 onwards, the number of scanned items had reduced from thousand something to only in the five hundred range. Even though nothing has changed, no updated apps or uninstalls.

Has anyone else having this occur?

Running:

Sophos 9.0.3082 on Android 6.0.1

Hi there,

The scanner will use the online lookup to check apps installed on your device against the latest threats. Can you run a manual scan once, and check if the count of scanned items increases?

I ran a manual scan and the number of items scanned has not increased.

It went from scanning around 1300 items to only scans about 580. Ever since the virus definition updated to the version mentioned in the original post.
