Needs further elaboration

I have a device that shows in the Logs & Reports > Recover Tamper Protection passwords section, but it shows tamper protection OFF. If I try to reinstall/uninstall Sophos on the end device it still gives warning that tamper protection is active. What should we do if it is here but we still can't get the system to see the updated info from Sophos Central?

    Thanks for the feedback. 

    I would see this more as a technical issue with the device not communicating with Sophos Central correctly. I will leave it to our product documentation team to comment on any potential changes or updates that can be made to the documentation.

    In your case, I suggest trying to use the command line to turn off Tamper Protection using the following command. You can also try doing this normally from the Sophos Endpoint UI.
    -  C:\Program Files\Sophos\Endpoint Defense\sedcli.exe -OverrideTPoff <passcode>

    If either of these methods do not work, you will need to use the recovery process.
