Documentation error / Clarification on KB/s

I assume you're referring to the following articles:

The Traffic shaping values are based on KB (Kilo bytes) in the firewall. So, the article uses 10,000 KB to account for the 10 MB limit in the example.

As the note on the following page indicates, internet speed tests show the value in kilobits, which requires admins to convert the firewall values if they want to compare the two: docs.sophos.com/.../index.html

Your example needs to clarify the "...available for Zoom conferencing to 10 MB." statement as being as 10 MegaBytes/sec or 10 MegaBits/sec. This has confused me.

The whole MB vs Mb capitalization notation is really not obvious enough - despite what the actual technical standard syntax may well be.

So to confirm, your example would effectively limit the Zoom throughput to 80Mbit/sec then? (10,000 bytes x 8 bits)

Personally I think this UI really should be talking in Kbits or Mbits like any other network transfer device. Leave Kbytes/Mbytes for storage platforms. Or at the very least a future update should just have a help notice / mouse-over Tool-Tip added to clarify that the value expected is Kilobytes - and how to convert from Mbps/Kbps/etc.
