Connecting a Mac to enterprise console.

I must be going mad, as I cannot spot in the documentation, how to setup Macs to talk to our Enterprise Console.

they have 9.6.1 I think it is installed, but they all just point directly to Sophos, how do i set them up to point to our onsite enterprise console.

Can someone point me to the document that I need to read to sort them out. We have around 2 dozen Macs and they've never shown on the console, and now it's running the latest version and works it seems a shame not to add them to it.

Hi Stephanie,

Please refer to the article Supported Enterprise Console policies by endpoint platform. Also, how were these clients installed on Mac machine? Did you deploy it from the Enterprise console?

thanks for the link.

Original install would have been directly from Sophos, we would have just logged into our web portal and downloaded the mac version. So it hasn't come from the server...

So we might need to reinstall again from scratch i'll have a read of the documentation that you've pointed me towards. There are 30 Macs that need installing across 3 sites so not to many if we need to do them from scratch.

Hi Stephanie,

Before you start from the scratch let me check if you could do it the easy way. Are you using Sophos Enterprise Console or Sophos Cloud?

Enterprise Console based at our main Server site.

running Windows 2008R2 OS, and the latest version of the console. 5.5.0

Our windows clients get all their updates via UNC path, with Sophos as the secondary.
