Help needed please. cannot uninstall sophos endpoint protection from my laptop. due to not being able to disable tamper protection.

Hello support. I have installed Sophos on my laptop but now i cannot uninstall endpoint security the latest version. I removed my computer form sophos central when trying to unjnstall and now i cannot uninstall protection becayse it says i need to disable tamper protection. i have disabled tamper protection from sophos central system settings but it still says i need to disable tamper protection when i try to uninstall. I cannot reinstall sophos protection because that also says i need to diable sophos protection to be able to reinstall.

I have tried a full system restore, but unfortuanately that failed. I am running windows 10 home(64).

 

Can someone help me to fully remove sophos endpoint protection from my laptop please. How can I disable tamper protection ?

help needed please.

    Hi, 

    disable all sophos services and try uninstall. Probably the uninstall will fail and after the reboot try to reinstall.

    hi Bonch Merdzh.

     I have actually tried those options but unfortuantely they didnt work i get access denied when i try to stop any sophos services. and i cant reinstall because im met with the original issue..

    I need to disable tamper protection to reinstall sophos products.

    Hi, 

    i had the same issue, but that is what i did, i tried to uninstall first, and after the first fail i start disabling service per service, after few disabled services i was uninstalling again, and after many tries i still couldn't uninstall it, but manage to reinstall it.
