Re-Installation

Hello Everyone,
I had W7 Home Premium. I have upgraded to W 10. To do this I had to uninstall my Sophos. I cannot now reinstall Sophos. Each time I try I am asked to either register - which I have already done - or login. When I login I am unable to find a way to download Sophis on the page that opens after loging in.
I would ask if anyone can direct me to either a link to download or a way that this can be achieved.

    Try flushing the browser cache or a different browser. Please revert us if that doesn't help!

    Hello Sachingurung, (Namaste!),

    Thank you for your suggestion. I cleared my Browser cache - ( I had to go online to find out how to do it!) Then I used Chrome to try to download it.

    FAILURE!!! The exact same thing happened. I was instructed to either register or sign in. I tried to sign in and my newly recorded password was not recognised.

    I have no intention of re-registering yet again - my password must be OK as I wrote it down as I created it and I have signed into this forum, there is probably a problem with the recording of my password!

    I shall try a few more times to download it and if it fails, I shall go for a different AV programme, I cannot be bothered to try to sort this out for a second time, I have already had to change my password when this happened a month or two ago.

    Are you using Sophos AV or Sophos home? In that case, I shall move this thread into the concerned queue.

    Hello Sachingurung,

    I have no idea if I had AV or Home. All I remember is that it was installed in place of AVG, so maybe it was "AV" but I would be advised by you which to have. It is only for my laptop. When I return to my home in a few months time, maybe I will wish to install Sophos on my desktop and we will probably have to go through this all over again!

    I had a problem with downloading M.S. updates and I was advised to remove AVG and install Sophos. I did it from a link and it remained for a few weeks until I updated to W 10. As I mentioned in an earlier letter, I had to remove all my AV programmes and when I came to re-download and re-install Sophos, I was presented with this problem!
